User terms
By accessing or using any of the information, materials or functions available on the Laracy Communications Limited website and programmes, you agree to the following user terms and our privacy policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to and use of any programmes at any time if you breach any of the provisions of these user terms.
These terms will be governed by the laws of New Zealand and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand. The materials on this site are also protected by copyright and trademark laws.
These terms are in addition to any other agreements you have with us, or any other services we provide you.
What you agree to when using this site
Except where expressly noted, the contents of our website and programmes, including software, programme content, graphics, icons, text, screen images and overall appearance, are our exclusive property, or that of our affiliates.
When you register for a programme or download any material, you receive a licence to use them, not a title over them. You therefore must not copy, reproduce, translate, adapt, vary or modify them in any way without our express written consent.
Registered users
Registered users have access to information and programmes that casual site visitors do not. If you are a registered user, you must not distribute our products to others or share your access rights or password with a third party.
Our programmes and materials must be used in line with the directions we provide and solely to improve writing skills. We do not guarantee your results after using our programmes.
Liability limitations
We do our best to ensure the information, materials and functions on our website and programmes are as current, complete and accurate as possible. However, we cannot guarantee and do not warrant this. You acknowledge that the programmes cannot be guaranteed to be error free and that if there are any errors, this will not constitute a breach of the licence. We will do our best to correct any errors as soon as we are alerted to them.
Our website may contain links to other internet sites and resources that are not related to or controlled by us. We assume no responsibility or liability for any errors or omission in the materials or information available on these sites or resources. Providing links to other sites does not mean that we endorse them or their resources, contents or operators. In addition, other internet sites and resources may provide less security than we do and have a different privacy policy to ours. Your access to and use of other internet sites and resources is at your own risk.
We will not be liable for any loss, injury or damages whatsoever whether in an action in contract, negligence or other tort, which may result from the use of our website or programmes or the materials and information they contain. This also includes any failure of performance, error or omission, interruption, delay in operation or transmission or other defect related to our website or programmes.
Refund policy
Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. However, in exceptional circumstances, you may obtain a full refund if you notify us in writing of cancellation of a course within 48 hours of payment and if less than 10 per cent of the programme has been completed.
